Cure Kids’ Winter Blues with KinderCare Winter Camp [Video]

School will be out for winter break soon, and you aren’t done with shopping and preparing for the holiday celebrations. San Diego moms and their children were treated to a special preview of KinderCare’s Winter Camp science activities, and also got a tour of the EastLake KinderCare facility which included real snow!

Sherill Pallotto, District Manager for KinderCare in San Diego, was on hand for the preview and believes providing young children with opportunities to learn, even while on vacation, is a way to re-enforce what kids learned in school so they don’t forget.

School age children will be entertained while they learn about science with hands-on activities like:

• Volcano Blast
• Helicopter Propellers
• Balloon Rockets
• Making the ever- popular slime

Themed educational activities encourage kids to explore chemical reactions and also “reinforce core learning activities such as language arts; math and science; and creative expression.”

Winter Camp is designed to continue to stimulate children’s’ learning while they’re on vacation, while providing parents who may need to work or catch up on other holiday preparations valuable time to do it.
