La Jolla Playhouse Presents Kikiricaja in Spanish – A Cross-Border Collaboration

Inventive Theatre Piece for Multi-generational Audiences To Run March 6-8, in Association with South Coast Rep

The La Jolla Playhouse is expanding cross-border relationships with artists from Baja California. La Jolla Playhouse is hosting a three-day engagement this weekend, March 6-8, of Kikiricaja: Una Historia de Payasos (A Story About Clowns). This is a Spanish-language production by Inmigrantes Teatro de Baja California. This charming play was written by Miguel Ángel Garrido Ramón, directed by Raymundo Garduño, and will run in the Rao and Padma Makineni Play Development Center on Friday, March 6 at 10:30am and 6:30pm, Saturday, March 7 at 1:00pm and 3:30pm, and Sunday, March 8 at 11:00am.
