There was a definite disturbance in the force when the new trailer for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” was released on Monday, October 9th, 2017.
What most of us felt, though, was a shot of pure excitement for the next installment in the Star Wars franchise. In case you missed it, here it is!
The cast of “The Last Jedi” includes: Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro.
Movie Synopsis
In Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past. Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in U.S. theaters on December 15, 2017.
And there was a little surprise imbedded in the trailer. Did you see the new character? What is this thing? Well, whatever it is, it’s just adorable!
I can’t wait to see this movie. SPOILER ALERT! I actually felt a little cheated when Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) only showed up in “The Force Awakens” movie for the last few minutes. But it looks like he’ll be gracing the screen longer this time around. I had a chance to meet the iconic Skywalker right here in San Diego a few years ago. I still get a thrill thinking about this moment!
