PANEL SERIES AT NERD HQ 2013

  • Nerd HQ announces additional panelists for “Conversations for a Cause,”  the very popular philanthropic series of un-moderated panels taking place at Nerd HQ 2013 in San Diego July 18th-21st in a new location, Petco Park (100 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101) Gaslamp Gate.
  • The first round of panels went on sale last week and sold out in minutes.
  • Newly announced panels include “Fannibal Meetup with Bryan Fuller, Hugh Dancy and David Slade,” “Signing with the legendary Jim Lee of DC Entertainment,” “Adult Swim Panel featuring cast members from NTSF and Children’s Hospital,” “A Conversation with Evangeline Lilly,” “Kick Ass 2 Panel and Signing,” “Tiny Commando featuring Ed Helms, Gillian Jacobs, Ryan McFaul and Zachary Levi,” “A Conversation with NASA/JPL Mars Curiosity Rover” and “A Conversation with Zachary Levi and Mystery Guests.” Tickets will be $22 each and go on sale today, July 16, beginning at 12 p.m. PDT and rolling-out throughout the day.
  • In addition, tickets will go on sale today for “‘Serenity’ Movie in the Park.” The festival fan favorite screening will take place on the field at Petco Park and will feature a special appearance by Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk. The screening will take place on Saturday, July 20 at 9 p.m. PDT and tickets will cost $15 each.
  • Panels already announced are as follows: “300 Rise of an Empire,” “Dr. Who,”“Haven,”“I, Frankenstein,” “A Conversation with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles,” ”A Conversation with Joe Manganiello,” “A Conversation with Joss Whedon,” “A Conversation with Nathan Fillion,”“Orphan Black,”“Psych,” “Seth Green, Robot Chicken, and Stoopid Buddy Stoodios,” “The Maze Runner,” “Thrilling Adventure Hour” and “A Conversation with Nerd HQ Founder Zachary Levi.”
  • Proceeds for “Conversation for a Cause” will benefit Operation Smile, mobilizing a world of generous hearts to heal children’s smiles and transform lives across the globe.
