Members of the all-boy pop band One Direction were spotted in Coronado, California.
Nick Spear, 2013 Coronado High School Grad and Boys Golf Team MVP, chatted with Niall Horan while they practiced at the Coronado Municipal Golf course driving range.

“He was really nice,” said Spear after the young vocalist graciously posed for a photo.
Horan was accompanied by his body guard, Thomas, while he was on the range (and four more in suits waited in an SUV). Thomas also acted as a caddy of sorts. According to Spear, Horan is serious about his game and commented after each of his shots.
“He was super intense on each shot, telling his body guard where exactly the ball was supposed to go,” Spear noted.

The famous singer also told Spear that he will be undergoing knee surgery in January, and jokingly compared his injury with Tiger Woods.
Niall Horan told Nick Spear he gets out on the links about once a week, and will be heading to a golf course in Los Angeles on his next stop there. (Horan mentioned the course by name but requested privacy)
One Direction performed at the Sleep Train Amphitheater in Chula Vista on Sunday, August 4 in San Diego.
