   I also saw them in the “Single Ladies” video, and it made me feel exactly the same UNCOMFORTABLE. These are little girls that are being made to look like young women. The choreographer showed very little judgment by thinking that this would be appropriate. More than anything, I blame the parents. How could they possibly think that this was okay? Doesn’t a parent have the job to preserve a child’s innocence? Unfortunately, children, as well as adults, are exposed to so much sexuality that judgment becomes somewhat blurred. You would “assume” that the adults have enough maturity, intelligence and judgment to make appropriate decisions for their children. This reminds me of a quote from the movie “Parenthood” that says: “You need a license to buy a dog, to drive a car – hell, you even need a license to catch a fish. But they'll let any butt-reaming a…..hole to be a parent.”

   Carmen, I couldn't have said it better. Thank you for sharing your views and values with me. I wish these permissive parents would think like you do.
   I am afraid for their children.
