FASHION, FOOD, FUN AND ALL THINGS GAL at the HEAD TO TOE WOMEN’S EXPO – NOV. 12, 13 & 14, 2010
Southern California’s premiere women’s show at the Del Mar Fairgrounds
San Diego, Ca (October 18, 2010) – The Head to Toe Women’s Expo returns to the Del Mar Fairgrounds, November 12, 13 & 14, giving mothers, daughters and girlfriends a chance to relax and reconnect during this ultimate weekend for women. Naturally this includes over 150 exhibits of boutique merchandise geared exclusively for gals, plus product samples, makeovers, chef demos, inspirational speakers and more.
Attendees can enjoy a fashion show on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 p.m., get tips from famous Southern California chefs such as Ron Oliver of The Marine Room and La Jolla Shores Hotel, and learn how to navigate today’s unique economic and social challenges. Additionally, renowned floral designer Michael Gaffney and staff will be working their magic all weekend at the San Diego School of Flower Design booth.
The Expo’s 2010 call to action is “Get Your Volunteer in Gear,” so the show will also feature representatives from scores of local nonprofits. Attendees can learn about numerous volunteer opportunities and which organizations are best suited for their time and talents.
The show’s new Baby Bump & Beyondarea will feature the latest in products and services for stylish moms and tots. In honor of the military, the expo kicks off on Friday the 12th with a baby shower for 40 military moms and moms-to-be, courtesy of Operation Showers of Appreciation. Entrance to the Expo is free on Friday to all military personnel with an I.D.
On Saturday and Sunday, civilian moms-to-be will be treated to a Baby Bump & Beyond baby shower as well. The shower takes place at 11 a.m. each day and is limited to the first 120 expectant moms to register by November 5.
Show hours are Friday, November 12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, November 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, November 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets, available at the door, are $8.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors, and children under 12 are free.
