The stage show Twist, starring American Idol's first-season contestant Tamyra Gray, opens in Pasadena next week and you can see it courtesy of Mamarazzi Knows Best.

Twist is a new American musical inspired by Charles Dickens’ classic Oliver Twist, and is set in New Orleans in 1928. There, an orphan in search of home finds family in the most unexpected of places.
The contemporary twist features jazz-inspired songs and sizzling choreography by Golden Globe and multi-Emmy Award-winner Debbie Allen.

Well she is only 5'2″ has Won two Essence Awards in 1992 and 1995. Plus worked on Different World as a Director as well but who can forget what she did with FAME!!!
