  26. Lalita Malone says:

I would love to take my husband and my 2 little girls to see The Nutcracker at the Civic Theater. My 5 year old daughter is just getting into dance with a passion for ballet and virtually lives in tutu dresses. I was also in ballet as a little girl and remember seeing The Nutcracker in L.A. as a little girl. I was told by my mother that I didn’t blink once the entire performance. I’m sure that was a slight exaggeration. I’ve always dreamed of being able to take my little girls to the ballet and plan to make it a tradition they can pass on to their children. Friday, Dec. 21st would be the best date for us but we can attend any of the dates provided.
    Thank you!

  29. What a great giveaway! We actually just bought tickets, so I am not officially entering. But I did not know about the meet-the-performers thing, so that’s awesome. I was unable to get matinee tickets, so I might just ask at the theater if they’ll let us crash that.

My daughter is [almost] 3 and is totally mesmerized by ballet. She knows the entire Nutcracker story by heart and can identify all – I mean ALL – of the characters. We are really looking forward to the show. It’ll be my first ballet performance in probably 30 years.
