Get a Free ride on the Patriot during Flagship Cruises San Diego’s Harbor Party May 2.

The public is invited to Flagship Cruises & Events‘ 100th anniversary party on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 2 to 6 p.m. Enjoy food, drinks and fun FREE rides aboard Flagship’s fleet of luxury yachts, docked along the newly-remodeled embarcadero at 990 North Harbor Drive. Bring the family and take part in any of these activities:
  • Live music by acclaimed dance band Sensation and jazz vocalist Celeste Barbier
  • Complimentary appetizers
  • Local craft beer and wine for sample and purchase
  • Local olive oil tastings
  • Professional commemorative photos
  • Photos and memorabilia from Flagship’s 100-year history
  • Kids entertainment including balloon art, games, face painting and a magician
  • Prizes and giveaways

If you’re a thrill seeker, then taking a FREE high-speed ride on the 70-foot Patriot jet boat is for you! This is San Diego’s only boat of its kind and is powered by two turbo-charged 1,400 horsepower jet engines that take guests around San Diego Harbor on a 50 miles-per-hour joyride. The complimentary rides will depart at 2:30, 3:30, 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.

Flagship’s celebration will end with a free evening harbor tour on the Quiet Heart yacht. The tour departs at 5 p.m. for an hour-long tour of San Diego Bay. Space will be limited!

The party will take place aboard the California Spirit, California Princess and Quiet Heart yachts, and guests will be able to freely embark and disembark in order to enjoy the offerings and harbor view on all three boats.

“The past 100 years would not have been possible without the millions of San Diegans and visitors who have stepped aboard one of our boats,” said Art Engel, CEO of Flagship Cruises & Events. “We look forward to thanking everyone for their incredible support at our celebration on the harbor.”

The Flagship fleet is located two blocks from the Santa Fe Depot train and trolley station, and nearby parking is available at the USS Midway parking lot, the B Street Pier parking lot and at 5 Star Parking on the corner of Broadway and Pacific Highway. Additional directions and parking information is available at flagshipsd.com/map-directions.
